This website is operated for SkylightCompany.uk, a trading name of S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd (company 16932889). The data controller for this website and for enquiries made through it is S&K Group Holdings Ltd (company 16703925), Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG, the S&K Group company that receives and manages enquiries. Once you accept a quote, S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd is the controller for your quote, contract and job records. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data or pass it to other companies to sell to you. We share it only with: the surveyor or installer working for us on your job; our form-delivery provider (Web3Forms); our chat provider (Tawk.to); our website host (Netlify); and professional advisers or authorities where the law requires. Some providers process data outside the UK under recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and chats that do not lead to a job: 24 months
- Quotes, contracts and job records: 7 years after completion, for tax and warranty purposes
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our use of it, ask for data you gave us in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time (use the Cookie settings link in the footer). You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk — we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Marketing
We do not send marketing emails or texts unless you have asked us to, and every message would include a way to stop them.
