What are bespoke & shaped rooflights?
Bespoke rooflights are made-to-measure units for openings that standard ranges do not fit: triangles and trapezoids, rooflights that wrap a corner, glass that follows a sloping ceiling, multi-pane runs and unusual sizes.
Architect-designed extensions often call for glass that follows the building's geometry rather than a rectangle. Bespoke manufacturers can make it — at a price and with a longer lead time.
We survey precisely, prepare dimensioned drawings for the manufacturer to check, and only order once the drawing is signed off.

Bespoke & shaped rooflights: common questions
Can any shape be made?
Most straight-edged shapes can be made in glass, within the manufacturer's size and angle limits. Curved glass is possible but specialist.
Why does bespoke take longer?
Each unit is drawn, checked and manufactured to order.
Can I cancel a bespoke order?
Made-to-measure goods are excluded from the statutory 14-day cancellation right. As a goodwill gesture you can cancel without charge until we place the order with the manufacturer, and we tell you in writing when that happens.
Do you need my architect's drawings?
They help. We still survey on site, because built openings rarely match drawings exactly.
Will a shaped rooflight leak more?
Not if detailed properly — corners and junctions just need more care.
Can bespoke units open?
Some can. Shaped glass is usually fixed, combined with a standard opening unit elsewhere.
