How we approach dome rooflights in Coalisland
Our dome rooflights service in Coalisland covers polycarbonate and acrylic domes for flat roofs, new or replacement. Every job starts with a survey of the opening, the roof covering and the room below, and a fixed written price.
Wind and rain off the Atlantic make upstand and flashing details important on Northern Irish roofs. Dome rooflights suit schools, flats and commercial flat roofs.
We work across County Tyrone, including Coalisland, and in neighbouring towns such as Dungannon and Cookstown. Access, parking and how the glass reaches the roof are all checked at the survey.
Choices for your Coalisland project

- Polycarbonate or acrylic

- Smoke-vent versions available
Before you order: points to check
- Upstand condition decides whether you replace dome only or the whole unit
- Fire classification matters on some roofs
Rules and responsibilities in Coalisland
On commercial roofs the main questions are usually building control, fire classification of rooflight materials and safe access rather than householder permitted development. We confirm the route for your building before ordering.
For non-domestic buildings in Northern Ireland, Technical Booklet F2 covers energy performance; we supply the manufacturer's data for building control. Fragile-roof safety and access are planned before work starts.
Our planning guide covers each nation in more detail.

Dome rooflights in Coalisland: questions
Should I replace a dome or switch to glass?
A dome is cheaper and quick; glass gives a clear view and better performance. On a tight budget, or a commercial roof with many units, domes remain sensible.
Can you replace just the dome?
Yes, if the upstand is sound and the size matches. Otherwise we replace both.
Can domes open?
Hinged and vented domes are available, manual or electric.
Do you fit dome rooflights in Coalisland?
Yes. We survey and fit dome rooflights in Coalisland and across County Tyrone. Send your postcode and we will offer a survey date when we reply.
Do I need to be at home for the survey in Coalisland?
Yes — someone needs to let us into the room below and, where possible, show us how the roof is reached.
