How we approach dome rooflights in Chingford
Dome rooflights in Chingford means polycarbonate and acrylic domes for flat roofs, new or replacement. We cover the E4 district and the rest of Greater London, with a survey before any price is fixed.
Victorian and Edwardian terraces with narrow side returns are typical of much of London, and a glass roof or long flat rooflight is the usual way to keep the back rooms bright once the return is built over. Typical uses for dome rooflights include schools, flats and commercial flat roofs.
Chingford sits about 3 km from Woodford Green and 4 km from Edmonton, and we cover the whole E4 postcode district and the roads in between.

Rules and responsibilities in Chingford
For non-domestic buildings, planning depends on the building and its location; building regulations cover thermal performance and the fire classification of rooflights near boundaries. Product data for building control is supplied with every quote.
For buildings other than dwellings, Approved Document L Volume 2 sets limiting U-values of 2.2 W/m²K for rooflights and 3.0 W/m²K for roof ventilators, including smoke vents. Fragile-roof safety and access are planned before work starts.
Read the planning permission guide before you commit to a design.
