What do dome rooflights in Cleethorpes involve?
We handle dome rooflights across Lincolnshire, including Cleethorpes. In short: polycarbonate and acrylic domes for flat roofs, new or replacement. The survey checks structure, weathering and orientation, so the quote reflects your actual roof.
Industrial and commercial units around Midlands towns often still have their original rooflight sheets, which are due for replacement. In Cleethorpes, as anywhere, dome rooflights are the usual choice for schools, flats and commercial flat roofs.
Neighbouring towns include Grimsby (3 km) and Hull (29 km). We offer a survey date when we reply to your enquiry.

Rules and responsibilities in Cleethorpes
On commercial roofs the main questions are usually building control, fire classification of rooflight materials and safe access rather than householder permitted development. We confirm the route for your building before ordering.
For buildings other than dwellings, Approved Document L Volume 2 sets limiting U-values of 2.2 W/m²K for rooflights and 3.0 W/m²K for roof ventilators, including smoke vents. Fire classification of rooflight materials near boundaries is checked at specification.
