Bespoke & shaped rooflights for Brechin: the essentials
Bespoke & shaped rooflights in Brechin means triangular, angled, curved and multi-pane rooflights made to measure. We cover the DD9 district and the rest of Dundee and Angus, with a survey before any price is fixed.
Scottish weather is hard on roofs, so we specify rooflights and roof windows with exposure in mind and fit upstands with generous heights. Typical uses for bespoke & shaped rooflights include angled ceilings, corners and architect-designed extensions.
Neighbouring towns include Montrose (13 km) and Forfar (17 km). We offer a survey date when we reply to your enquiry.

Do you need permission in Brechin?
Planning rules in Scotland differ: rooflights are treated as external alterations under Class 2B, with no permitted development in conservation areas. Listed buildings need listed building consent where the work affects their character.
Scotland's Technical Handbook (section 6) asks for windows, doors and rooflights in an extension to average 1.4–1.6 W/m²K, with no single unit worse than 3.3 W/m²K. Forming a new opening normally involves structural work, so check with the local authority verifier whether a building warrant is needed.
Read the planning permission guide before you commit to a design.
