Commercial & industrial rooflights for Wick: the essentials
Commercial & industrial rooflights in Wick: by arrangement. In short, rooflights for warehouses, schools, offices and retail units. We confirm travel and timing before any survey is booked, then fix the price in writing.
Short winter days in Scotland make every square metre of overhead glass count, so rooflight sizing matters. Commercial & industrial rooflights suit warehouses, schools, offices and retail units.
We cover Wick by arrangement: travel, ferries and weather affect what is practical, so we confirm what we can offer before quoting.
Specification options
- Polycarbonate domes

What to check first
- Asbestos surveys may be needed on older roofs
- Fragile rooflights are a known fall hazard — work at height must be planned
Regulations for commercial & industrial rooflights in Wick
On commercial roofs the main questions are usually building control, fire classification of rooflight materials and safe access rather than householder permitted development. Product data for building control is supplied with every quote.
For non-domestic buildings in Scotland, the non-domestic Technical Handbook (section 6) sets the energy standards for rooflights; we supply the manufacturer's data for the building warrant. Fragile-roof safety and access are planned before work starts.
Read the planning permission guide before you commit to a design.
What do commercial & industrial rooflights cost in Wick?
These are typical supply-and-fit ranges. For an address in Wick, scaffold, a hoist for heavy glass, or a new structural opening can move the figure, which is why we survey first.

Common questions
Can you replace old warehouse rooflight sheets?
Yes. We match the roof profile, replace discoloured or damaged sheets and plan safe access while the building stays in use.
Do you supply O&M information?
Yes — product data, manufacturer warranties and maintenance notes are handed over at completion.
Are old rooflights a safety risk?
Older plastic rooflight sheets can become brittle. Anyone working on the roof must treat them as fragile unless proven otherwise.
Do you fit commercial & industrial rooflights in Wick?
By arrangement. Wick is a remote or island location, so send your postcode and photos and we will confirm what we can offer before any survey is booked.
Do I need to be at home for the survey in Wick?
Yes — someone needs to let us into the room below and, where possible, show us how the roof is reached.
