Commercial & industrial rooflights for Trowbridge: the essentials
For Trowbridge homes and buildings we offer commercial & industrial rooflights: rooflights for warehouses, schools, offices and retail units. We measure first, specify to the opening and confirm any planning or building-control points before quoting.
Many South West towns mix Georgian and Victorian terraces with modern estates, so the right product differs street by street. Commercial & industrial rooflights suit warehouses, schools, offices and retail units.
Trowbridge is around 40 km from Swindon, and we survey and fit throughout that part of Wiltshire, including the BA14 district.
Specification options
- Mesh or grilles under fragile areas

What to check first

- Fire performance of rooflight materials matters near boundaries
Regulations for commercial & industrial rooflights in Trowbridge
For non-domestic buildings, planning depends on the building and its location; building regulations cover thermal performance and the fire classification of rooflights near boundaries. We confirm the route for your building before ordering.
For buildings other than dwellings, Approved Document L Volume 2 sets limiting U-values of 2.2 W/m²K for rooflights and 3.0 W/m²K for roof ventilators, including smoke vents. Fire classification of rooflight materials near boundaries is checked at specification.
See our building regulations guide for U-values, glazing limits and self-certification.

Yes, with a site survey to confirm.

Older plastic rooflight sheets can become brittle. Anyone working on the roof must treat them as fragile unless proven otherwise.
Can you replace old warehouse rooflight sheets?
