Dome rooflights for Buckley: the essentials
Dome rooflights in Buckley means polycarbonate and acrylic domes for flat roofs, new or replacement. We cover the CH7 district and the rest of Clwyd, with a survey before any price is fixed.
Wales sees a lot of wind-driven rain, particularly in the west, so upstand height and flashing laps matter more than anywhere. In Buckley, as anywhere, dome rooflights are the usual choice for older flat roofs with yellowed or leaking domes.
Buckley sits about 4 km from Hawarden and 5 km from Deeside, and we cover the whole CH7 postcode district and the roads in between.
Choices for your Buckley project
- Polycarbonate or acrylic
- Insulated PVC or GRP upstands
- Clear, opal or tinted
- Twin, triple or quad skin
- Fixed or hinged with vent
- Smoke-vent versions available
- Light, impact-resistant domes
What to check first
- Fire classification matters on some roofs
- Upstand condition decides whether you replace dome only or the whole unit
Rules and responsibilities in Buckley
On commercial roofs the main questions are usually building control, fire classification of rooflight materials and safe access rather than householder permitted development. We confirm the route for your building before ordering.
For non-domestic buildings in Wales, Approved Document L sets limiting U-values for rooflights and roof ventilators; we supply the manufacturer's data for the building control submission. Fire classification of rooflight materials near boundaries is checked at specification.
Read the planning permission guide before you commit to a design.
