What do dome rooflights in Llanelli involve?
We handle dome rooflights across Dyfed, including Llanelli. In short: polycarbonate and acrylic domes for flat roofs, new or replacement. The survey checks structure, weathering and orientation, so the quote reflects your actual roof.
Chapels, barns and farm buildings converted across Wales often need bespoke or conservation-style glass. Dome rooflights suit schools, flats and commercial flat roofs.
We cover all of Llanelli and the SA15 district, and nearby Gorseinon and Swansea.

Rules and responsibilities in Llanelli
For non-domestic buildings, planning depends on the building and its location; building regulations cover thermal performance and the fire classification of rooflights near boundaries. Product data for building control is supplied with every quote.
For non-domestic buildings in Wales, Approved Document L sets limiting U-values for rooflights and roof ventilators; we supply the manufacturer's data for the building control submission. Fire classification of rooflight materials near boundaries is checked at specification.
Read the planning permission guide before you commit to a design.

Dome rooflights in Llanelli: questions
Can domes open?
Hinged and vented domes are available, manual or electric.
Do domes leak?
Leaks are usually at the upstand seal or the membrane. Replacing the dome and resealing often fixes it.
Should I replace a dome or switch to glass?
A dome is cheaper and quick; glass gives a clear view and better performance. On a tight budget, or a commercial roof with many units, domes remain sensible.
Do you fit dome rooflights in Llanelli?
Yes. We survey and fit dome rooflights in Llanelli and across Dyfed. Send your postcode and we will offer a survey date when we reply.
Can you work alongside my builder in Llanelli?
Yes. On new extensions we fit once the opening and upstand are ready and coordinate dates with your builder.
