What do bespoke & shaped rooflights in Keady involve?
For Keady homes and buildings we offer bespoke & shaped rooflights: triangular, angled, curved and multi-pane rooflights made to measure. We measure first, specify to the opening and confirm any planning or building-control points before quoting.
Northern Ireland has a mix of terraces, bungalows and rural farmhouses, and rooflights are a common upgrade when extending. In Keady, as anywhere, bespoke & shaped rooflights are the usual choice for angled ceilings, corners and architect-designed extensions.
Jobs in Keady are planned around access: whether the roof can be reached from the garden, whether a hoist or crane is needed, and where we can park. We check this when we measure.

Planning and building rules for Keady
Northern Ireland's householder permitted development allows rooflights within limits — no more than 15 cm projection on road-facing slopes and a 0.5 m margin from ridge, eaves and party walls. Listed buildings also need listed building consent from the council.
Technical Booklet F1 (2022) asks for replacement windows and rooflights in existing homes to reach WER Band C or a U-value of 1.6 W/m²K, assessed in the vertical position. Extensions follow a 25% glazing allowance in Technical Booklet F1.
